"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:34

What If?

Garth Brooks once said, "If tomorrow never comes..." Well, he could not have said it better. Too many times in today's world we put off until tomorrow what we could have done today and we don't realize the "ONE THING" God doesn't promise us. God promises that he will love us forever and that we will have eternal life with him in heaven; however, our time on earth is limited. He promises no one tomorrow; simply meaning that all we have is today.

Often, we get so caught up in the "hurry up" world we live in that we forget to do the simple things. Each day we have the chance to enjoy a sunset, take a breath of fresh air, listen to birds sing, and tell our loved ones that we do indeed love them. We take tomorrow for granted and put things off, but like I said, "Tomorrow is promised to no one." We bring trouble and pain into our lives by allowing ourselves to worry about tomorrow. We ask ourselves silly questions like "What am I going to wear tomorrow?" or "What if this happens and what if that happens?" Instead, we must try to think,"What am I going to do RIGHT NOW?" Every time you leave a loved one you should hug them and tell them that you care because you NEVER know if it will be the last time you see them. I advise you to let go of any grudges you have and for you to call someone you love and tell them those three special words. Sometimes telling someone you love them can change their entire day.

Put yourself in this situation: You get into a fight with someone and then you leave. The next morning you wake up to a phone call only to learn that your friend has passed away. Now you have to go on for the rest of your life feeling that unimaginable guilt. It does not have to be this way. You don't have to end up in this situation. You can change things RIGHT NOW because RIGHT NOW is all we have.
