Prayer As A Weapon

I’m sure your thinking "What is Jesus Freak thinking, prayer as a weapon???" Well, let me explain. Do you believe in God? If you’re reading this of course you do. And if you believe in God, you believe that he wants nothing more than for you to be in heaven. However, with good there is bad, with light there is darkness, and with God there is Satan. As bad as God wants us in heaven, the Devil wants us in hell.

But as the saying goes, “Be not afraid.” God with all his infinite wisdom has given us a weapon against Evil and against Sin. God sends down upon us the Holy Spirit in the form of Prayer. If you allow yourself to be tempted by the devil he’ll come running in. But if you open yourself to prayer and to God the Devil will have no control. Next time you feel the Devil coming, pull out your “weapon” and say a prayer. For the devil’s power is strong, but he doesn’t have a “Prayer” against You and God.
