Directors:

As Life Teen director, Scott plays a big role in leading our program to fulfill its mission. Life Teen has given him the chance to help teens in our parish. He loves being around young people and his most memorable moments in Life Teen were Retreat 2002 and Steubenville 2002 because his mother was there with him.

As assistant director, Josh says he felt God put on his heart a service to the youth. "I felt that He wanted to use me and my experiences to help guide the teens." He enjoys missions, hunting, camping and fellowship with family and friends. Josh is back from the Philipines where he served as a missionary for one year.

Core Leaders:

Tanya has been contributing her time to Life Teen for many years now. She enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping and walking. She joined Life Teen initially thinking it was a summer program and has been doing it ever since. She hopes to help teenagers to know and love God.

Aunie joined Life Teen because she wanted to be a part of the Life Teen family that she had witnessed as a teen and she wanted to increase her faith as well as other teens faith. Her most memorable moments in Life Teen are Retreat 2002 and Steubenville South 2001. Aunie is a core leader.

Tammy is the wife of Chaddy Daddy and mother of two. She says she initially joined Life Teen for selfish reasons but has since realized that the teens have given her a renewed belief in the Catholic church. She enjoys seeing the Holy Spirit work in the teens and watching the peace and love in the teens eyes during Adoration.

Jace is a returning core member who moved to Houston upon graduation from UL and now he is back. He enjoys trucks, cars, motorcycles, his lovely wife (pictured below), his family and anything constructive. He was led into this ministry by friends and hopes now to help others find the way to Christ.

Core Members:

Jackie is a loving mother of 3 and the wife of Ricky. She has a wonderful love of music, but not just ordinary music. Jackie loves music that glorifies our Father in Heaven. According to Jackie, God called her "on the phone." Through Life Teen she hopes to bring the love of Jesus to the teens. Jackie is a core leader.

Yvette has been a part of or program for many years. Her hobbies include working out , walking, and reading. She joined Life Teen because she knows the importance of getting the teens of today to know Jesus. "Our world is so full of evil and lies that our teens need to know that the only truth comes from Jesus."

Despite her busy family life, Jackie graciously gives of her time to youth ministry. She enjoys dancing, reading & attending sporting events. Jackie is married and has one son who has graduated from Life Teen and two beautiful daughters. She claims that Life Teen has helped to bring her whole family closer to God.


Timmy joined Life Teen to teach the youth of the community about God and to fill a void in his life with God, to get closer to God, and learn all he can about his faith.


Cathy is a mother of three and the wife of Timmy. She enjoys camping with her children. She joined Life Teen to become closer to Christ and to share what she's learned about him with teens in our community.

Sue is the wife of Tim and the mother of two. She enjoys crafts such as decorations, flower arrangements, scrapbooking, cooking & reading the Word. She joined Life Teen to maximize the loves of her life, God and Teens. She enjoys crafts, cooking, and volunteering whenever she can to help the community and our church.

Tim works for the LA Department of Wildlife & Fisheries. His hobbies include archery, arrowsmithing, bowmaking, hunting backpacking, hiking and living in all God's creation. He joined Life Teen for reasons God put on his heart to share, teach and live his word.

Paula is the wife of Fred and the mother of 3 including Heather and Josh who are on core team. She enjoys gardening, relaxing by the pool and reading. After attending Steubenville, meeting the teens, and experiencing God's love, she knew that this was were God was calling her.

Courtney is an occupational therapist who responded to God's call to Life Teen ministry after witnessing the love of God in her mother and sister. Her hobbies include shopping, spending time with family and friends, watching CSI and keeping Beb under control!

Lisa is the wife of Keith and the mother of two. Her hobbies include anything artsy and she contributes to Life Teen in many ways by using her artistic talents. She says that the Holy Spirit guided her to Erath through the teens that she has encountered. Praise God!

Keith felt God tugging at his heart ever since he started coming to Our Lady of Lourdes. It took a couple of years but he and Lisa finally answered the call. "It is very rewarding just to witness teens being drawn closer to Christ. All the while knowing that you yourself are also being drawn closer."

Pam is the wife of Kenneth and the mother of twins. She is a 2nd grade teacher at Dozier Elementary and enjoys reading, dancing, listening to music and spending time with her family. She was led to Life Teen by her desire to be a part of her children's spiritual journey and to help other teens along the way.

Russell is the husband of Connie and the father of four. He does mechanic work on location for a living and enjoys reading and studying. He was drawn to Life Teen by the mass and hopes to grow in his relationship with Christ by being a godly example for our teens.

Jason is one of the original core members who helped to start our program. He left us briefly and now he's back. He enjoys the Olympics and his favorite competition is the floor exercise. Jason has performed in so many skits and church intros that his acting capabilites have surpassed even the soap operas.

Philana is the wife of Jace and she is currently attending UL. She enjoys motorcycles, cars, hunting, sports, photography and hanging out with friends. She felt the calling to Life Teen shortly after joining Notre Dame's core group in 2000. She hopes to grow closer to God through leading teens in the right direction.

Kala enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning more about God, reading, surfing the net, shopping and playing with her cat Demi. She claims that many people are responsible for bringing her to church and now she looks forward to encouraging teens to keep moving towards Christ.

Connie is the wife of Russell and proud mother of 4. She loves spending time with her family especially reading and playing with her grandchildren. God called her to Life Teen through her husband. She was a CCD teacher at one time and enjoys teaching and helping our young people find out about our Lord.

Celie is a college student majoring in Elementary Education at UL and hopes to someday become an elementary school counselor. She enjoys the outdoors, cycling, playing sports and hanging out with family and friends. She hopes that this experience in Life Teen will help to strengthen her faith as well as the faith of teens she encounters.
