We
are blessed with a wonderful Life Teen band. Their God-given musical talents
lead our congregation in song every Sunday at Life
Teen mass and occasionally for other events such as Praise
and Worship sessions. Check our forum for scheduled events.

Libby
heard the call to Life Teen through the amazing people
that God has placed in her life. She is currently a student
at ULL and enjoys singing, reading, missions, traveling
and drawing. Libby spent the last year on core team but
she has answered God's call to use the wonderful singing
voice that He has given her. |

After
the Holy Spirit intervened and brought Dustin to
us for a couple
of visits, he answered God’s call to music ministry.
A bit unsure and overwhelmed at first, Dustin is now
comfortably settling in with the band and is doing
an outstanding job. An avid outdoorsman who enjoys
sports and hunting, he also loves spending time with
his wife and three beautiful children, and worshiping
the Lord.

A singing debut in a school talent show at age 9 led Dana to become an active member of the church choir and vocalist for local weddings during her high school and adult life. Happily married to her high school sweetheart, Dana has three children and now teaches at Erath High School. She confesses that “singing with the Life Teen Band has definitely been the most fun of all my singing stints.”

A truly gifted
guitarist and vocalist, Johnny currently serves as
the band’s leader. His quiet demeanor is often
complimented by his huge talent on both the acoustic
and lead guitar. We are pleased that he continues to
consider our Life Teen band and program a major part
of his life.

A music minister for many years, Frances is always amazed and grateful that God has provided wonderful opportunities to share her love of music in a wide variety of activities with all age groups, and thanks God daily for an incredibly supportive husband and family. She cherishes the friendships and musical memories which have enriched her life and hopes to serve God for many years to come!

One of our lead
vocalists, Marcus also plays a “mean” harmonica.
That incredible instrument has definitely changed the
timbre of music in our church! In addition, Marcus
serves as our “sound man.” The band is
truly blessed to have access to his vast array of musical
talents.

From the beginning “Boo” eagerly
became one of six “choir members” in our
group. After a while, the band found itself struggling
to keep a bass guitar player. “Boo” heard
the Lord’s call, purchased an instrument, and
with the help of friends, has been learning to play
the bass guitar ever since. Great job, Boo!

Like “Boo,” Melanie
Huval was, and still is, one of the band’s original “choir
members” who helps to lead the congregation.
Like the other members of the “choir,” she
is always up for the challenge to learn a little bit
of harmony now and then, and has even volunteered to
sing lead in a duet with Marlayna.

After making it
perfectly clear that she didn’t want a microphone
anywhere near her, Nelwyn joined the group to provide
the fullness of chordal structure on the second keyboard.
Thanks to Nelwyn, some of the “holes” in
the band’s sound have been filled.

Like the
other “choir” ladies in our group, Pat
has occasionally volunteered to sing lead when she
felt that the Holy Spirit had called upon her to
do so. As lovely as her voice is, though, it doesn’t
compare to her numerous kind words and huge, generous
heart.

No stranger to
music ministry, Christina came to the Life Teen band
with several years of experience in adult choirs. A
mother of two, she enjoys sharing her love of God and
music with our teens, and has, on occasion, stepped
out of her comfort zone to volunteer to sing lead.
